About the Creative Team:
WENDY JO CARLTON (Writer/Director/Producer)
Wendy Jo Carlton directed her first feature film, Hannah Free, starring Emmy-winning actress Sharon Gless, in 2009. Hannah Free won several Audience Awards and is globally distributed.
Carlton was an artist-in-residence at 911 Media Arts in Seattle and a recipient of the Navona Fellowship from the University of Illinois Chicago, where she earned a graduate degree in film/new media. Her award-winning short films have screened internationally, including the American Film Institute, Sundance, and other festivals.
Jamie and Jessie are Not Together has won an Audience Award and Best Feature Award, a Jury Award for Best Lesbian Feature, and Jury Award for Best Actress (Jessica London-Shields). The film is receiving great reviews including LA Weekly, After Ellen, San Francisco Examiner and Curve Magazine. Distinguished film critics Roger Ebert (Sun-Times) and Michael Phillips (Tribune) both gave the film lovely 3-star reviews.
LISA CORDILEONE (Actor/Producer)
Lisa Cordileone has been acting in Chicago for 5 years and is focused on creating quality content as an actor and producer. Originally from upstate-New York, she earned a BFA in Theater from East Carolina University before moving and training at THE SECOND CITY Improv Conservatories.
Lisa has worked with distinguished Chicago Theater companies such as Stage Left Theatre (Warped by Barb Lhota), Profiles Theatre (Persuasion Paper 101 by Neil LaBute), and Side Project Theatre (Through the Middle Ground by Louis Cancelmi). Her work has received reviews in the Chicago Sun Times, Windy City Times, Theatre In Chicago, and the Chicago Free Press. Her voiceover work includes both the Commercial and AudioBook industries.
